  • Develop, Configure, Test, and Document Production quality software on an iterative basis.
  • Implement, test and deliver new features as well as bug fixes to existing features.
  • Adhere to coding and style standards with an emphasis on reusability of artifacts.
  • Participate in iterative development cycles based on SCRUM/Agile methodology.
  • Closely work with the product manager and testing groups for addressing all technical aspects of the product features
  • Provide technical support to the product manager for handling customer queries/issues, demos, trial version setup, data migration, upgrades etc.
  • IT support for data loads, jobs monitoring, database deployments, creation and deployment of builds etc.
  • Documentation of standard operating procedures

Required Skills::

  • Good understanding of the software development processes including source code control, issue tracking, unit testing, build, deployment and code reviews
  • Development of web based apps using J2EE technologies and relational databases.
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills supporting production customers
  • Knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts and design
  • Core Java, JSP, JSF, JDBC, HTML5, XHTML, CSS, Spring, Hibernate, Ajax, Javascript, custom tag libraries, JS toolkits
  • Tomcat, MySQL, Solr, Lucene, AWS, Eclipse, Netbeans, Jenkins
  • Experience with Search based applications using Solr, Lucene will be a major plus
